Things Happening in October and NovemberTuesday, October 26 we will celebrate the Feast of the Great Martyr Demetrius. Divine Liturgy will be at 8:00 AM.
Wednesday October 27 we will NOT celebrate the Divine Liturgy, on account of the Feast on the previous day. On Monday, November 8 we will celebrate the Feast of the Holy Archangels Michael, Gabriel & Raphael and All the Bodiless Powers. The Divine Liturgy will be at 8:00 AM. On Wednesday, November 10, there will be no Divine Liturgy. There will be no Divine Liturgy on Wednesday, November 24. Thanksgiving Day falls this year on Thursday, November 25. We will observe it as a feast, with Great Vespers at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, Matins on Thursday at 7:00 AM followed by the Divine Liturgy at 10:00 AM. Because several of the monks will be away in the afternoon helping to serve a meal to homeless people in San Bernardino, vespers on Thursday afternoon will be in private. Travels Father Maximos will be in San Diego on Sunday October 24 and again on Sunday and Monday November 7 & 8 to celebrate the Divine Liturgy and preach at Holy Angels Byzantine Catholic Church. |
